1 Kings 17:8–24

Bring me
water,
says the
stranger at the gate.
Feed me,
cries the
dying man from his bed.
Help
me,
pleads
the mother for her child.
Help
me,
pleads
the prophet to his God.
With
humility and courage
may we
ask for what we need
from the
Sacred Source of life,
and from
our neighbours.
With
generosity and love
may we
offer all we have
received
from the Sacred Source of life,
to God
and to our neighbours.
Amen.
