Intercessions
We pray for all who fret
because of wickedness, for
greed that seems rewarded;
may we trust and stay true,
may we delight in you.
We pray for all who wait,
suffering oppression, while
dishonesty seems to prevail;
may we refrain from anger,
work diligently for justice.
We pray for all in trouble,
persecuted, victims of others' raging;
may we find refuge in you,
our helper, rescuer,
source of peace and hope.
Amen.
