Rejoice!

A psalm for Easter Day
(following Psalm 118:1–2, 14–24)



This day is a day for singing,
for singing joyfully, hearts full
of joy and gladness and life,
for life is not extinguished,
not by anguish, not by death,
but death will not have the last,
will not last, when life and love,
and love – will endure beyond
and into the beyond we cannot
imagine – imagine that! This
day is a day for singing, for
singing joyfully, hearts full of joy
and gladness – and life!
