Mark 13:24–37
up will be down
and down will be up,
when the Son of Humanity
comes among us
day will be night
and night will be day,
when the Son of Holy One
comes among us
power will crumble
and the humble will stand,
when the Son of Humanity
comes among us
fear’s grip will loosen
and love will set us free,
when the Son of Holy One
comes among us
look for that coming,
wait for that coming,
act as if that coming
is happening among us already
he is come, the Son of Humanity,
he is here, the Son of Holy One,
born again and again
right here, now and always, among us.
